What Is Well Being

I was learning about what  is well being.
In Maori Taha Wairua  means values Taha Tinana means your body Taha Hinengaro is about you and  Taha Whanua is about other people like your family and friends.

Term 2 Week 6

Today room 28 went to te tuhi to learn about Vertical Gardens and Matariki.  I went in Mrs Graham's car.  Her car is purple.  When everybody reached there first we met Jeremy and then we went into the art room.   There were bottles that had 3 little holes at the bottom.  Next Jeremy told us that first we need to draw 3 lines and a circle around the bottle.  Then he told us to cut it and decorate it.  After that we put soil in it and our plants. Later we played a game. Soon we went outside and Jeremy showed us a painting.  Finally it was time to go back to school.  I felt happy because it was the best day ever!

Addition And Subtraction Stratgies

I am learning to solve addition and subtraction problems.I learnt rounding and compensating  and P.V.P.
Rounding and compensating was easy for me because it was easier then P.V.P.
I enjoyed doing the Questions so much.
If I had to solve a question I would use Rounding and compensating.

Term 2 Week 5

Last week  I and the year four's went to Te Tuhi.  We  did a  play  about How The Kiwi Lost It's Wings.  I was the pukeko.  It was so much fun there were other characters like tui , Pipiwharoroa ' tanemahuta the god of the forest , the trees and some bugs.  After that we did some posters my one showed the kiwi , tanemahuta  the bugs and the trees in the forest.  That was the best day for me.  Here is the story!!!

Making Connections

My Reflection:

It was easy to find connections
It was hard to write why we write connections.
I think I will get it next time.
I really enjoyed this it was fun.

Term 2 Week 3

This week my class and I did the 100 word challenge we had to use the words grass,  horse,  pipe, and carefully.  This time Mrs Mellvile and Mrs Graham said we could use 105 words this  time.  I love doing the 100 word Challenge because it's so much fun.This is what I wrote. A horse kicked the pipe and the pipe broke so my friends mum and dad called the plumber and it took the plumber 2 hours to fix  it and the horse came back after 5 days and broke the pipe again.
